Building KBB Go in public: what works now, what’s next

I’d rather tell you what KBB Go does today than sell you a roadmap. So here it is, line by line.

Working now

  • Drawing the room: drag walls and corners or type the survey sizes, including shaped rooms.
  • Doors and windows, with sizes, sill heights and the door swing on the plan.
  • Boxing in: pipe boxes, bulkheads and slopes that drop in ready to adjust.
  • Placing the suite from the library, with snapping, rotating and copying.
  • Connected parts: move a shower tray and its screen moves with it.
  • Whole-room finish changes: chrome to brass to black in one move.
  • Tiles, grout and lighting: feature walls, layout patterns, grout colour and joint width, day-to-evening lighting.
  • Tile box counts that take off what isn’t tiled.
  • Fitter and customer views: the dimensioned plan and the 3D room from one design.
  • Saving as you work, with a version history you can restore from.

Next

  • Live pricing and branded quotes. On the roadmap, not in KBB Go yet.

Planned for later

  • Kitchen design. No date yet. Founding 100 members get it at no extra cost when it launches.
  • Mobile, AR, VR, AI-assisted design and photoreal rendering. Not part of the current product.

Why say all this?

Because the moment I promise something that isn’t there, you’ve no reason to believe the rest. If you join the Founding 100, you’ll see each line move from “next” to “now” as it happens.
